CM Naveen Patanik talked with Sarapanch of Bugbuga gram panchayat Puspakanti Seth through video conference. As many as 12 projects worth Rs 36 lakh were recommended. However, four villages, Jamtikra,
Bhuttikra, Karmitikra and Gambhatikra got no project and even did not figure in the Panchayat planning list for development, complained the local residents.
Bedabyasa Thati of Bugbuga panchayat alleged that before recommendation of the project it should be discussed at the Panchayat office. But the projects have been implemented as per the views of the ruling party leaders, he said.
The construction of the road from Gambhatikra village to Patrapali through Bhutatikra village and a drinking water project were assured to be completed by local leader and Handloom Minister Shnehangini Chhuria. But these assurances were not fulfilled, he said.
Krushna Chandra Mahakur, another local, also voiced similar concern.
