Basing on the allegations of acquisition of assets disproportionate to the known sources of income by Saroj Kumar Rath, Assistant Executive Engineer-Cum-SDO, RWSS, Padampur, Bargarh, the Vigilance on Tuesday raided multiple locations and found his assets worth Rs 1,87,14,729.
His residential Government quarter located inside the campus of RWSS
Office, Padampur, house of relatives at Bijayanagar, Padampur, office chamber at Padampur and house of relatives at Burla, Sambalpur were simultaneously searched.
His assets included 13 plots of land and four buildings of Rs 44,41,097, banks and lIC deposits of Rs 1,07,43,252, one i-20 car, one Baleno car, one tractor, one Bullet motor cycle and one Activa scooter, hard cash, jewelleries and household articles etc.
