On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Ashok Kumar Mishra, Assistant Executive Engineer, R&B Sub-Division, Barbil, his residential house at Silisuan, Keonjhar, building at Pabitradiha, Keonjhar and office room at Barbil were simultaneously searched by Vigilance officers on Friday.
Movable assets like costly household articles, an Indica car, deposit in different banks, lIC and other insurance companies, hard cash of Rs1,84,000 and American Dollar worth Rs42,000 were found during the search.
The total cost of the movable and immovable assets so far detected during the search was calculated at Rs73.56 lakh. The search was in progress.
