The School and Mass Education Department’s Building and learning Aid (BalA) programme, which started on Tuesday in the State, was launched at the Rasrasikpur UGME School here in Cuttack district.
Under the chairmanship of Rasrasikpur School managing committee president Khirod Chandra Mishra, a meeting was also held in which chief guest local MlA Ranendra Pratap Swain spoke about the importance of the programme launched by the Government.
Among others, NAC Chairman Suchitra Sahoo, Headmistress Binapani Satpathy, guardian Brahmananda lenka, Cuttack DEO, District Project Director and Athagarh BEO were present.
As per the guidelines decided by the department, the Rasrasikpur UGME School was selected for launching the programme in Cuttack district.
