Bajrang Dal activists on Monday evening organised a rally from Tinimuhani Rama Mandir to Old Bus Stand to pay tributes to 17 Jawans of Dogra Regiment, who were killed in terrorists’ attack at Uri Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning.
The activists burnt the Pakistani national flag and photo of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, Kendrapada SP Nitinjeet Singh sounded an alert to all the Marine and general police stations located at coastal pockets directing them to keep a close eye on the sea route.
“Armed police forces have been deployed at strategic places on the coastal in Kendrapada district. Similarly, Marine police personnel have intensified sea patrolling by engaging police boats and fishery boats in Rajnagar and Mahakalapada block.
Police personnel have been asked to verify suspected persons,” said the SP.
