The Ayush Doctors’ Association held a meeting here on Sunday in which its members alleged that they are not covered under the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations whereas the other Government servants are getting benefit of the same.
Association president Dr Jyoti Ranjan Gahan said that since many days, they have been demanding regularisation of their posts. but the Government has turned deaf ears to their plea.
The association threatened that if the State Government does not fulfil their demand, they would hold cease-work stir in front of the Assembly for an indefinite period in the coming days.
Among others, association secretary Dr Tapan Kumar Dash, Dr Prabhas Chandra Swain, Dr Rabindra Nath Gantayat, Dr Biswa Ranjan Jena, Dr Umakant Rana, Dr Bidu Bhusan Nayak and district representatives were present.
