The All Odisha Government Homoeopathy Services Association and the Odisha Government Ayurvedic Physicians’ Association would stage an agitation at the lowe PMG here on Thursday to press for a 10-point charter of demands. Homoeopathy Services Association president Radhanath Praharaj said several appeals have been made for fulfilment of the long-pending demands, including Class-I status for all working ayurvedic and homoeopathy doctors, regularisation of contractual doctors and cadre restructuring, but in vein.

“As a mark of protest, all members had worn black badges during duty hours from March 14 to 19 protesting the inaction of the State Government towards our demands. Again, a peaceful demonstration was held on March 31 in front of all District Homoeopathic and Ayurvedic Medical Offices across the State to press for the 10-point charter of demands. However, the Government has not taken any tangible steps to fulfill our demands yet,” Praharaj said.
