A forest staff staged a protest in a different way in front
of the District Forest Office here protesting his termination from
job. He alleged that he was axed from job for no valid reasons.
He expressed that he was unable to maintain his family after being fired
from his job. He was seen selling mangoes in a cart on a roadside in
front of the Bargarh DFO office.
Prayag Padhan, a forester working under the Bhatli Range in Bargarh
district, said he had been suspended for the past five days for
raising his voice against the Bargarh DFO's corruption. Bargarh forest
office employees are being harassed by the DFO, he alleged.
