A three-day-long convention began on Bharat Scout and Guide campus here on Thursday with a view to engaging the youth in addressing cases of violence against women. Institute for Social Development (ISO), a State-level women’s organisation, in collaboration with the OXFAM India, organised the programme Awaaz Do, a commitment towards enhancement of dignity of women, in which around 300 youth, both from urban and rural areas, are participating. Many dignitaries attended the inaugural session.
