Hundreds of youths belonging to OBC and general castes protested against the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act Ordinance of the Union Government here on Thursday.
The protesters blocked the road at Jaydev Vihar by putting burning tyres. They demanded cancellation of the Act.
‘We don’t support any political bandh. But this kind of British rule is meant to destroy us. In order to save both country and its people, we have taken to the streets” said India against Reservation secretary general Dinabandhu Sarangi.
Rudra Narayan Sena convener Sitaran Satpathy alleged that the Narendra Modi Government has caused damages to the country in the name of Bikash (development).
The Rudra Naryan Sena would continue to fight till reservation system is completely annulled, said Satpathy.
