Basing on the allegations of acquisition of assetsdisproportionate to the known sources of income by AssistantController, legal Metrology, Rourkela Bidyadhar Biswal, the Vigilancepolice on Monday raided several locations and found his assets of Rs1, 23, 42,740.
The raids were carried on his residential triple storied buildinglocated at Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar, native house at Nimikheta,Balugaon, Khurda and house of relative located at Patrapara,Bhubaneswar.
His assets included buildings, plots of land in Bhubaneswar and hisown village, vehicles, jewelleries and bank deposits. His residentialGovernment quarter at New lIC Colony, Civil Township, Rourkela and hisoffice chamber at Udit Nagar, Rourkela were searched.
