Over a hundred activists of the BJP Mahila Morcha led by its State president Prabhati Parida on Tuesday gheraoed the Mahila police station here demanding arrest of casting couch accused Tattwa Prakash Satpathy alias Papu Pompom.
The Government is still shielding Papu Pompom even after a minor girl brought molestation charge against him. If the Ollywood actor is not arrested within 12 hours, we would again gherao the police station on June 30, said Parida.
Among others, Morcha State vice-president Niyati Giri, secretary lekha Samantsinghar, Bijaylaxmi Mohapatra, Bhubaneswar unit president Minakshi Priyadarshini, Unnatee Parida and Shantilekha Sethi were present.
