After completion of three hit films, Ollywood superstar Arindam Roy is now back in new venture Ashok Samrat.
This film is not about Emperor Ashoka; it is a masala comedy with some action sequences. The director of the movie is Jyotee Dass.
The mahurat of the film was held on March 3 at the Narayani Temple in Ganjam. Manoj Mishra, Hari and Suman were part of the function.
The movie is being produced by Anapurna Parida under the banner of Annapurna Entertainment and its release is expected to take place in this year’s Rajo festival. This film also stars Emili Choudhary, Mahasweta, Jairam Samal, Minaketan, Hari, Manoj Mishra, Jeevan Panda, Papi Santuka and Sunita Garabadu. Nayak has penned the lyrics while music is composed by Abhijit Majumdar.
