With the Government attaching much importance to timely preparations for the Nabakalebar of the Trinity nest year, new Puri Collector of Puri Aravind Agarwal seem to be setting his agenda straight. “lord Jagannath’s Nabakalebar will top the agenda of the district administration,” he said while speaking to the media after assuming office here on Saturday.
Agarwal has been posted as the Puri Collector for the second time. He had been posted here in 2011 before being shifted as Collector Angul in 2012 and then as Collector Baleswar.
Agarwal said, “It’s the lord’s wish and I will try my level best to serve Him and the people.” After taking over, he held discussions on the preparations for the Nabakalebar with the officials and asked them to give a detailed working plan for the purpose.
