Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha member Aparajita Sarangi has been adjudged as the country’s best parliamentarian for the year 2020.
In a joint survey by the India Post and the Fame India, Sarangi featured among 25 best parliamentarians for her performance.
The first-time BJP MP expressed her pleasure for acknowledgement by the media research agency ‘India Post’ and ‘Fame India’ magazine.
The bureaucrat-turned-politician was elected to the Lok Sabha from Bhubaneswar in the 2019 polls. She defeated Biju Janata Dal (BJD) candidate Arup Patnaik, former IPS officer, by a margin of 23,839 votes.
