Kendrapada MP Anubhav Mohanty on Friday refused to join a mediation process offered to him by a court here to resume the marital relationship with his estranged actress-wife Varsha Priyadarshini.
Instead, the actor-turned politician said he has confidence on the judiciary and his divorce suit is now pending in a New Delhi court.
Mohanty appeared before the SDJM Court, which has taken cognisance of a domestic violence suit filed by Varsha. As directed, Anubhav also submitted an affidavit detailing his response to the case. “I made my statements in the court and requested the court to punish the guilty and spare the innocent,” he told reporters.
