The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Monday recommended the name of present Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of National Aluminum Company limited (NAlCO) Ansuman Das for the post of Nalco CMD on a permanent basis.
The PESB, at a meeting in New Delhi interviewed ten persons for the post before choosing Das.
The other contenders were Nalco Director (Production) SS Mahapatra, Director (Mining) Avjit Ghosh, Director (P&IR) R Mohan Das, Director (HRD) Dr Manoranjan Dash and Director (CIVIl) RN Mishra, SAIl Executive Director Narendra Kothari, BCCl CMD TK lahiry, HIl CMD K Harikumar and G/O Karnataka CMD MM Kumar.
