The Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF), the CSR arm of Amway India, celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Amway along with AOF Day on Tuesday by presenting educational aids for the Computer Centre at the premises of the Palli Unnayan Seva Samiti (PUSS) here.

It also announced to upgrade the Computer Centre to an AOF-PUSS Centre for Excellence in information technology which would later be converted to a vocational centre in IT to empower the underprivileged children of the PUSS with job opportunities. AOF has been carrying out several infrastructure development activities at the PUSS including healthcare and education.

At a formal function, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police and Executive Magistrate SK Das described the Amway’s initiative as laudable.

He presented the annual educational aids to PUSS secretary Swati Suchismita Patra in the presence of Amway Area Manager for Odisha Sridipta Sinha. Sinha said the initiative is based on the belief that inclusive growth and sustainable development can only be possible if different sections in the society work together.
