BJP national president Amit Shah would visit Odisha on July 1 to review the State party unit affairs, informed BJP State general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan here on Monday.
Union Minister Jual Oram said that until the BJP wins elections in Odisha and West Bengal, the party's golden period would not be ushered in.
For that reason, the focus of the BJP top brass is on these two eastern States and all members of the States' units are working in that direction.

Oram further stated that the BJP national president is constantly touring several parts of the country and holding talks with State leaderships on several issues.
However in reaction, BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra said Shah has many times come to Odisha and might continue to do so. It is their party affair. But the BJD is with the people and working for their interests.
