Chief Secretary GC Pati on Wednesday directed all departments to adopt an integrated IT application for quick service delivery and good governance. A meeting presided over by Pati at the State Secretariat decided that a common IT procurement procedure would be prepared to facilitate an integrated IT application in all the departments and agencies of the Govt. Since there is a difference between civil and IT contracts, the draft IT procurement and application procedure should take into accounts various contours of IT application such as continuous upgradation, IPR and disaster data recovery to ensure continuous support to the proposed integrated software.
