In a bizarre incident, an alcoholic father was killed by his son in Gajapati district on Thursday. The deceased Biswanath Gamang (46) of Tudumula village under Rayagad block had two wives. He used to beat his first wife regularly in inebriated condition. On Thursday, when Gamang was beating his first wife, his son Ashunath in a fit of rage hit his father’s head with an iron item. Gamang died on the spot. Being informed, police reached the spot.
