The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the State Crime Branch on Sunday arrested Akash India Multicomplex limited managing director KedarNath Sahu for allegedly duping investors of `3 crore.
Special Director General of Police (Crime Branch) BK Sharma informed about Sahu’s arrest through a Tweet.
Sahu is involved in a case of unauthorised collection of public deposits and cheating several investors to the tune of over `3 crore, said Sharma.
Earlier, the duped investors had filed FIR against Sahu with the EOW, said Sharma, adding that the investigation into the case is on. The accused Sahu would be produced in court on the day.
