The State Government on Tuesday appointed Ajit Kumar Patnaik, a retired Indian Audits and Accounts Service (IAAS) officer (Railways), as the new Chairman of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
Prior to this, the 1977-batch IAAS officer was the Acting Chairman of the OPSC.The Government also appointed senior Education Department official Satyakam Mishra as a new member of the OPSC.Besides, Debendra Prasad Dhal, Member of the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC), has been appointed as its Acting Chairman while 1990-batch IAS officer and Special Secretary of General Administration Department Niten Chandra is the Acting Chairman of Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC), a notification issued by the GA Department said.
