Having completed a trial run between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore successfully on Friday, the city-based Air Odisha authorities have planned to start flights between the two cities fromJanuary 18.
The flight service would be available six days a week from Monday till Saturday and there would be only one flight daily between the two cities. Though the ticket price has not yet fixed, but one can book tickets by visiting company’s website www.airodisha.com.
According to sources, the nine-seater flight would leave Bhubaneswar airport at 9 am and land at Jeypore airstrip at 11 am daily. later it would leave Jeypore at 11.10 am and land at Biju Patnaik International Airport at 12.40 pm.
The Biju Patnaik International Airport headquartered airliner had long been vying to start the services but got the nod from DGCA only recently.
