The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday called all nine Congress MLAs of the State to Delhi for an important meeting on Wednesday.
While the purpose of the meeting was yet to be known officially, it was assumed that the ED harassment to Rahul Gandhi and the ongoing nationwide Satyagraha of the party in protest against it would be discussed to steer the movement forward.
Political observers here also assume that the internal conflict among the MLAs and a change of CLP leadership after new PCC president Sarat Pattanayak has taken over might be discussed.
Another internal issue likely to be discussed is that PCC president aspirant Cuttack MLA Mohamed Muqim is not participating in any PCC meeting since Pattanayak’s appointment as the PCC chief.
