NIMAI CHARAN SAHU

: The students of Adarsh Vidyalay in Chinimahul village under Jamankira block met the Collector of Sambalpur to demand a hostel for them so that they can pursue their education smoothly.

As per information, the Government of Odisha in order to give education to students of rural and semi urban places in English medium opened schools with classes from sixth to twelfth in villages all over the State and Chinimahul is one of them.

But the State Government is yet to provide necessary facilities in most of the schools and hostel facility is one of them. The result being students of Chinimahul school are suffering a lot to attend classes covering a long distance from their respective homes.

There are some students who are coming from a distance of nearly 40 km from their homes. At the same time they are unable to stay in private hostels as it is too expensive.

There are some students who have to leave home in morning and reach in the evening. And there are elephant corridors in between.

In such a situation, the students and their guardians have demanded hostels so that they can continue their education without much financial constraints.
