Rights activist and Supreme Court lawyer Radhakanta Tripathy celebrated the Universal Neighbourhood Day to bring awareness among the people on value of neighbourhood relationship.
Tripathy decided to distribute one month ration to the divyangs of his neighbouring area such as Habibnagar in Gujidarada Gram Panchayat of Bhadrak district.He also discussed with the locals regarding their day to day issues and assured them that he would try to place those issues in proper forums as a reflection of respect to neighbourhood.
His noble initiatives were appreciated by the intellectuals of the district. The India Book of Records has also recognised the day.
Among others, Jagannath Kar, Sakil Ahmed, Seikh Ajimuddin, Seikh Majfur and Prashant Jena assisted.
