The Baleswar district unit of the Aam Admi Party (AAP) on Thursday staged a dharna here demanding justice for a girl, who was attacked with acid by a youth in November 2014. The agitators demanded that the accused be arrested soon. The victim, a First Year Plus Two student of the Nilgiri Women’s College encountered the mishap in November second week while she was returning home at Mirigini village under the Nilgiri NAC after attending a private computer class in a bicycle. A team led by AAP coordinator Amit Biswal submitted a memorandum in this regard to the District Collector.
