Seven Maoist militias from Narayanpatna block surrendered before Inspector General of Police (IGP) south-western range Yashwant Jethwa here on Wednesday coinciding with the anti-terrorism day.
Police said these extremists who had joined the banned Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) in 2009 were working for Narayanpatna Maoist division. All the members are believed to have been involved in many anti-social activities in the region.
