The Covid-19 positive cases declined further in State capital city Bhubaneswar with 69 new cases detected on Tuesday. With this, the city’s total positive tally rose to 29,379, which included 1050 active cases.
The new cases were 55 local contacts and 14 quarantine cases. The local contacts included five cases from Saheed Nagar, four each from Rasulgarh, Nayapalli and Tankapani Road and three each from Old Town and Patia.
Meanwhile, two more persons succumbed to the disease on the day, pushing the total toll to 170 in the city. However, 180 persons recovered in the city on the day. taking the total recoveries to 28,138.
