On the directions of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian on Saturday reviewed the Shreenmandir Parikrama Project in Puri.
Pandian directed to expedite the project work and complete it by December 15. This would give a new experience to the devotees, he opined.
The 5T Chairman also asked to speed up the renovation works of different mutts and use trees connected with the Jagannath culture for landscaping.
He also ordered to provide adequate parking places for two-wheelers and finish the work for providing power supply for the Parikrma project. He also inspected the shifting of the existing utilities from near the Meghanad Pracheri.
Pandian also reviewed the facilities for tourists and progress of the Shree Setu work and advised the officials to use more manpower to complete the works in the scheduled time.
