The 5G network service would be launched in eight cities of Odisha by March of 2023, said Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw here on Sunday.
Attending an event organised by the Railways, the Minister also said that around 80 per cent areas of Odisha would have 5G coverage by December 2023.
However, Vaishnaw did not disclose the names of the eight cities of the State which would have 5G network in the first phase.
