About 5,300 tickets of Gallery No. 7 of the Barabati Stadium here for the India-West Indies One Day International (ODI) cricket match scheduled to be held on December 22 will not be sold.
A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting between officials of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) and the local administration.
“The tickets of Gallery No. 7 will not be available for sale as the gallery is currently in a dilapidated condition,” said OCA secretary Sanjay Behera after the Central Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) took stock of the preparations for the ODI.
It was also decided in the meeting that carrying of polythene bags inside the stadium on the match day would be prohibited.
Online and offline sale of tickets will begin from December 5 and 19, respectively.
