The Gajapati district administration has started preparations to conduct free and fair lok Sabha elections, which will be held on April 10 in the district. To conduct the poll process more than 4,000 Government employees would be engaged, official sources said.
According to Gajapati district, Collector Basudev Bahinipati, as many as 3, 85,000 voters, would exercise their franchises at 537 booths under Mohana and Parlakhemundi Assembly constituencies of the district. The Collector urged all the leaders of the parties working in the district to follow theelection code of conduct.
