The Sukinda police on Wednesday arrested four miscreants on the charge of hurling bombs at a BJD vehicle on Tuesday night at Ambasara village as a result of which vice-chairman of Sukinda block and BJD leader Bibek Bose along with four other BJD cadres sustained serious injuries.
The arrested persons are Shayamlendu Behera (33), Sehaadev Rath (24), Prakash Beura (25) and Satyapriya Behera (24). The police booked the four under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307 and 332 of IPC and Section 9(3) of Indian Explosive Substances Act.On Wednesday, the four persons were produced in the court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) at Chandikhol. The court rejected their bail applications and remanded them to jail custody.
