The Covid-19 positive cases continued to surge in State capital city Bhubaneswar with 345 new cases being reported on Tuesday.
With this, the total positive cases soared up to 19,243 in the city.Out of the new cases, 244 were local contacts and 101 were reported from quarantine centres. However, 412 patients recovered on the day, taking the city’s total recoveries so far to 15,354. “Further contact tracing was still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and would be under active surveillance,” the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said.
