As many as 319 Covid-19 positive cases were detected from the capital city Bhubaneswar on Saturday. With this, the positive tally surged to 20,538, which included 3,574 active cases.
The local contacts continued to rise in the city compared to the quarantine cases. Of the new cases, 257 (80.5%) were local contacts while remaining 62 were detected from quarantine.
The local contacts included 16 cases from the Nayapalli area.
