As many as 31 police personnel in Ganjam district, who have recovered from coronavirus infection and rejoined duty, have decided to donate plasma for treatment of serious Covid patients, informed Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Rai.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appreciated the police personnel, saying their gesture would encourage other recovered people to donate plasma and save precious lives.
Notably, a plasma bank has been created in the MKCG Medical College Hospital recently. A few serious patients have also been provided plasma therapy in the district.
