Juba Parisada to celebrate event in BBSR

The Utkala Bikasha Juba Parisada which has spearheaded the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Birth Soil Yatra all over the country has appealed to the heads of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to celebrate 75 years of Azad Hind Government of Netaji Subhas Bose in undivided India and hoist the flag of the Azad Hind Government.

On October 21,1943,  Netaji had formed his Government in Singapore. Bose along with others had taken the oath of secrecy as Prime Minister and Ministers in the united India.

Rash Behari Bose was its supreme adviser. The ministry was represented by representatives belonging to all regions and groups.

The Government had postal service, radio, bank, currency and its army known as the Indian National Army. The Government was recognised by 11 nations and diplomatic relation was established.

As October 21 is a historic day and a day of faith, struggle and sacrifice for today's India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, it should be observed by these three nations piously, a Parishad release said.

Request letters were sent to Prime Ministers Narendra Modi, Imran Khan and Sheikh Hasina in this respect.

So also appeal is made to all political party leaders and organisations for celebration of the day, Parisad president Debiprasad Prusti stated, adding the event will also be observed in Bhubaneswar.
