A violent clash between two groups of Surat returnees at an quarantine centre in Jamurda under the Jagannath Prasad police station in Ganjam district on Tuesday left three persons injured.
Four persons were arrested in connection with the incident. The injured were rushed to a local hospital and after treatment they were again taken back to the quarantine centre, said Jagannath Prasad PS IIC charge Jubaraj Swain.
Preliminary inquiry revealed previous enmity might have led to the clash. Police registered a case against those involved in the clash basing on a complaint lodged by local sarapanch Gayatri Nayak, Swain said.
