At least three persons were killed and two children were injured in separate road accidents in Sambalpur and Rourkela on Tuesday. According to reports, two youths, Pramod Behera (24) and Nayayan Dhurua (25), died after coming under back wheels of a bus at Ainthapali chowk in Sambalpur.
Similarly, a person, Hareram Jha (65) was killed and two children, Sumit Gopal (2) and Sarswati Gopal (8) were injured severely as a loaded dumper ran over them near Kalunga IDC railway level crossing in Rourkela area. The injured children are undergoing treatment in the Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela. Tension prevailed in the area after the accident.
