The Rourkela Government Railway Police on Tuesday arrested three persons on the charge of killing Ajay Pradhan of Kumbharpara,Biramitrapur on August 14 night.
Bholanath Yadav, brother of the victim, on August 15 had alleged after murdering Ajay, miscreants thrown his body on railway track.
Based on Bholanath’s FIR, the Railway Police conducted investigation and succeeded to arrest master mind of the incident Kamal Singh (27), two of his co-accused Mahadev Dutta (45) and Dibakar Yadav (26). The sharp weapon used in the crime was recovered from Kamal’s house.
All the three accused were forwarded to court on Tuesday. According to police Ajay had a very close association with Kamal’s family but Kamal was suspecting him.
As a result Kamal planned to kill with the help of Mahadev and Dibakar. On the fateful day on August 14, the three accused and the victim ate chomein and took wine. Then they drag Ajay to railway line. First Mahadev and Dibakar hit him with a stone while Kamal stabbed him with a sharp weapon resulting in his death on the spot.
