The State on Thursday registered new 269 Covid-19 cases in 24 districts and the State pool, with which the total tally rose to 13,29,472.
Among the newly-infected were 48 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had recorded 328 Covid cases on Wednesday.
Out of the new cases, 157 were from quarantine and 112 local contacts.
Khordha district reported the highest 67 cases followed by Sundargarh with 40, Cuttack 21, Nabaarangpur 16, Sambalpur 14, Nuapada 13, Nayagarh 12, Jajpur 10, Mayurbhanj nine, Baleswar and Keonjhar seven, Balangir six, Bargarh, Deogarh and Jagatsinghpur five each, Gajapati, Jharsuguda and Puri three each, Boudh and Subarnapur two each and Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kendrapada and Koraput one each.
Besides, 15 cases were reported from the State pool.
The number of active cases stood at 1,685.
Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the disease in Baleswar district, taking the total death toll to 9,184 in the State. So far, 13,18,550 persons have recovered.
