Bhubaneswar on Friday registered 245 Covid-19 positive cases, with which total tally rose to 1,05,000 in city.Notably, capital city recorded 263 positives on Thursday.Out of 245 new cases, 179 were local contacts and 66 from quarantine. The local contacts included 16 cases in Nayapalli followed by 11 in Old Town, 10 in Laxmi Sagar, nine each in Patia and Jharpada and eight in Unit-8. The active cases in city stood at 3,292. So far, 979 patients have succumbed to disease in the city. However, 181 persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 1,00,708.
