The State on Tuesday reported 206 new Covid-19 cases in 23 districts and the State pool, taking the total tally to 13,25,47.
The newly-infected persons included 17 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had recorded 203 cases on Monday.
Out of the new cases, 121 were from quarantine and 85 were local contacts.
Khordha district reported the highest 48 new cases followed by Sundargarh with 36, Cuttack 16 and Sambalpur 13.
Besides, 12 cases were reported from the State pool,
The active cases numbered 2,247.
Meanwhile, one more person succumbed to the disease in Nabaranpur district, with which the total death toll rose to 9,165.
So far, 13,14,005 patients have recovered from the disease in the State.
