Rotary Eye Hosp holds camp at Jajpur Road
Jajpur Road: The Cuttack JPM Rotary Eye Hospital in collaboration with the JSl foundation and the “Udayabata” magazine conducted an eye camp in the Panasia slum area here on Thursday. Udayabata editor Dushmanta Rout coordinated the inaugural programme along with Jajpur Road PS IIC Amitav Mohapatra. Vyasanagar Municipality Chairperson Sabita Rout, scribe Chintamani Padhi attended the camp. A mass prayer was conducted for eye patients. The Rotary team under Dr Narendra Sahoo checked 40 patients. Among others, Rahas Bihari Pandit, Basant Patra, Bidyutprava Ray, Sridhar Nayak, Manoj Jena, Sumitra Mishra, Suman Ray, Prafulla Barik and Kartikeswar Palai were present.
Royal College holds cleanliness drive in B’pur
Brahmapur: Under the banner of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship-2018, students and staffs of the Royal College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences conducted a cleanliness drive at Kukudakhandi village under lathi block on Friday. Principal Dr PN Murty, Associate Prof Dr Madhusmruti Khandai, Asst Prof Santosh Kumar Pattanaik and Asst Prof Asitbaran Panigrahi guided the students. Sarpanch Sasmita Panda, Samiti Member Banita Kumari Gouda, Rankanidhi Panda, Srikant Panda and Krushna Chandra Gouda participated.
WIPS, MCl organise bone density test camp
Burla: The WIPS, MCl organised a bone density test camp at the Rajanigandha Club on Tuesday. The WIPS is a forum of women working in public sector. As many as 53 women and 70 men employees of MCl attended the camp. WIPS coordinators Komala V Jawaid and Radhika Dhusia, general secretary T Padma, Simantini Mohapatra, Suprabha Patel, Tapaswini Munda and residents of Jagruti Vihar and Anand Vihar were present.
