BHIM App crosses 16-million downloads mark
Bhubaneswar: The National Payments Corporation of India’s (NCPI) Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) app has crossed 16 million downloads and four million active customer by June 2017. The app is a platform to make simple, easy and quick payments. NCPI MD and CEO AP Hota said, “Transactions via the app is witnessing growth with each passing month and download numbers is a remarkable achievement towards digital transactions and for creating cash-less society”. Currently, app’s version 1.3 is on play store and apple store and soon the new version 1.4 would be launched.
Foundation day of BoB celebrated
Bhubaneswar: The 110th foundation day of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) was celebrated at its Kunheipara branch. A tree plantation programme was held at the Mundamuhan UP School, Cuttack. Gifts were distributed to the children of the school.
