Aakash BBSR celebrates 10th anniversary
Bhubaneswar: The Aakash Educational Services Pvt. ltd (AESPl) celebrated its 10th foundation day in Odisha. The Aakash Bhubaneswar Centre was opened in 2005 to provide quality coaching to the State’s medical and engineering aspirants. In Medical, 467 Aakashians from the Bhubaneswar Centre were selected in AIPMT2014 within 1,000 state rank in general category, including state topper Arnav Panigrahi. In AIPMT-2014, Aakashians Bhubaneswar begged 6 ranks out of top 10, 13 out of top 20, 28 out of top 50, 52 out of top 100, 272 out of top 500. In Odisha, 28 Aakashians were selected in AIIMS-2014.
FIITJEE students excel in KVPY
Bhubaneswar: Students of the FIITJEE Bhubaneswar Centre have excelled in the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) finals. A total of 23 students of the institute qualified the Centre-sponsored programme, of which one emerged in the top-10, two in top-50, six in top-200, 16 in top-500 ranks. Congratulating the new KVPY Scholars, Centre Head Ranajoy Bardhan said The FIITJEE Bhubaneswar has grabbed 60 per cent of the State’s KVPY qualifiers.
Habib salon plans to expand network in State
Bhubaneswar: leading Hair and Beauty salon chains Jawed Habib plans to expand its reach in the State. With a store count of 480 salons across 92 cities in the country, the company is looking out for business partners who can join as franchise business partner across the State, said Jawed Habib. Presently, the salon has its presence in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Rourekela, Jharsuguda in Odisha with another one coming up in Angul. Besides, a Jawed Habib Academy here imparts training in Hair and Beauty providing employment opportunities to the youths of Odisha.
