PC Jain to serve as SICC new director
Bhubaneswar: Dr PC Jain, former Principal of the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), New Delhi, will now serve as the director of the Sai International College of Commerce and Economics (SICC) here. Dr Jain has a long teaching experience in postgraduate management courses at the SRCC and the University of Delhi. Dr Jain has 13 books to his credit and has contributed more than 30 research papers at different national and international seminars. “The students of the SICC have already set global standards and I hope to contribute substantially to the institute,” said Dr Jain.
Wipro launches Project Readiness Pogramme
Bhubaneswar: The Wipro Technologies has chosen the SOA University to conduct its Project Readiness Programme (PRP) for engineering students recruited by it through campus selection this year. The three-month programme was launched at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) of the university on Monday with experts from the company taking the students through their paces with a variety of training programmes and online tests.
TOlIC meeting held at SBI
Bhubaneswar: The 37th meeting of the Town Official language Implementation Committee (TOlIC) was held at the SBI local headquarters here on Monday with SBI CGM Krishna Mohan Trivedi chairing the event. Representative of Ministry of Home Affairs from Kolkata NK Dubey joined the event as the chief guest. NABARD CGM SK Kale and RBI General Manager Sridhar Behera were present among several Official language Officers of all banks in Bhubaneswar. On the occasion, a website of the committee, narakasbankbhubaneshwar.co.in was launched by the SBI CGM.
