Baleswar Shiksha Sahayak sacked
Baleswar: The Baleswar district admin on Tuesday dismissed a Shiksha Sahayak, Mamata Biswal, for negligence of duty. Ritika Biswal, a Class II student of the Patimunda Primary School in Chittal gram panchaya under Bahanaga block, had died on September 17 due to electrocution in the school premises. An investigation conducted into the incident attributed Ritika’s death to Sahu’s negligence.
Two killed in B’swar train mishaps
Baleswar: Two persons were killed after being run over by trains at two different places under the Soro police limits on Tuesday. While the deceased were yet to be identified, the Railway police have registered two separate cases.
